When you’re going through hell, keep on moving.
It’s easy to feel like we just want to stop the world from spinning and hop off… okay, I’m done… forget this… I don’t get paid enough for this! It’s easy to bail on social groups, churches, dreams, hopes, goals. What has God told you to do? Do it, no questions asked; don’t worry about the details; leave it to God to figure that out. Pray; ask for wisdom; listen; do what He tells ya to do; trust Him to do the rest. So often, we’re so used to just simply doing it all by ourselves. God, however, is a team player.
If any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all liberally and without reproach, and it will be given to him. But let him ask in faith, with no doubting, for he who doubts is like a wave of the sea driven and tossed by the wind. For let not that man suppose that he will receive anything from the Lord; he is a double-minded man, unstable in all his ways.
James 1:5-8
